What did you do there, run a tube down the middle to reduce plenum volume and basically make an "Air-Gap" type manifold? that is really cool

Yup, that's what I did. I plan on doin some long drives and the way I understand it is the tube will reduce plenum volume and increase low to mid range rpm drivability.

I haven't been on here for a while, been real busy in the shop and if you get more done on your projects the the customers you don't have customers for long. I haven't started on the wood panels yet but I'm trying to get it to my woodworker in Jan and I'm runnin the old 2G's on the intake. I have made some progress in the form of headers, compressor mounted using a chevy trans mount to keep noise and vibration down, gas filler neck mouint using a fill neck from a 86 chevy truck and a hub cap from an old dodge to use as a gas cap, sheet metal is going in and getting welded in place and that makes it look like I'm gettin someplace.

Got a little more done to the Woody the last couple of days, used a column shift linkage from a 57 mercedes to work the the turbo 350 and it worked out great even has a switch for backup lights. Had a buddy come over today and we got the roof put together and tacked on.

Awesome looking ride. The headers should do a good job of cleaning debris off the road so your rear tires can get traction.

Fired the motor yesterday to hear how loud it is and it ain't to bad so it should be good with some baffles. Had this in my head for a while so yesterday I started on the Teardrop trailer for the Woody, it's going to have wood on it to match the Woody. Hopefully I can get some windows in it and make the hatch and hinges today.

Welded the roof on and got it ground down and raised the visor a couple of inches so I can make the winsheild a little taller and also got the power window kit installed and I put some sheet metal on the rear hatch and tailgate.

Thanks guys, I'm gettin close to breakin this thing down and get it to my buddys place for body work and primer and then to the woodworker. I did get the gas tanks mounted that my nephew made out of stainless and hold alittle over 13 gallons each so long drivers will be easy untill I have to fill'er up. Also found some old backup lights to use as turn signals by changing to a amber bulb.
