I need it lately.
This part is going real slow as I have to do most of it sitting on the floor and getting up and down with my fake leg is one of the hardest things for me to do.

my father in law lost his leg to liver illness, I know how hard he struggled as a mechanic with it! Your work blows away the guys with double the legs and sometimes four times the talk. [cl

this truck is a lot of whats right now a days, keep it up!

Thanks Gang. :)
The rockers are coming along. The DS is finished but not welded in and the PS is about 60 percent done.
With the holiday weekend things have gotten busy so I hope to get some shop time this afternoon and tonight.
Pics to follow.
Thanks for stopping by......
Torchie.

Pics as promised....

Both the rockers welded up and the backside sprayed with weld thru primer.
PS installed and the DS in progress.
Nuff fun for today.
See you all tomorrow.......

its like listening to a surgeon talking "the guy needed brain surgery so I got him in before breakfast". so much fine work in short time. [cl

Very nice fabricating sir. [cl
Looks like the factory wanted it that way :D

soltz,
I've taken to calling them the F-1 rockers that never were as most people will think that they are stock.[ddd
Here they are all attached and in primer.
The next pieces to fab are going to be frame covers. They will attache to the existing box extensions and cover the frame as well as line up with the bottom of the rockers.
The first pic show this area.
Have a safe holiday everyone.......

My wife went to her happy place (The lake. Boating.) and I stayed at home in my happy place and made these today.
Frame covers/box skirts extensions. More bending and shaping.:)
When finished these will be welded to the stock lower box extensions and will extend past the rear cab wall for a clean look.
You can see on the DS where the rear cab wall has been trimmed to allow for this. I still need to trim off part of the new rocker panel though.
I will fill the upper seam from the stock extension and most likely add a lower piece to the stake pockets to bring them down to the new seam.
That's it for today.
Thanks for looking in........

Had to move the custom to the back of the shop today to work on my daughters Daily driver.
Here are some pics of what it looks like with the tires and the skirt clamped on.
Last pic shows the PS......
