good stuff lol, sense I unintentionally fueled a fire, and recently pulled the rear axle out of a donor town car I took some rough measurements,
57 inchs outside to outside of brackets
70 inchs hub to hub (roughly still has tire and a donut on it) Google says their 65 inches
My 59s inner box above wheel wells was like 74 inches rough.
Then my buddy showed up and we finished up installing the car hoist :)
looks like going to tight, alot measuring and fab work. but as we know dropping them to the dirt takes effort. 😀 ill probably be back to shop tomorrow agian I theres anything else I can get measurements on so you don't have to relu on Google or crawl under a dead vic.
That’d be awesome. I’m tried of conflicting google info.

What wheels are you planning on running? I’ve been looking around Craigslist for wheels off a mustang or anything. I also realized a lot of imports have 5x114.3 ( the metric equivalent of 5x4.5) I just have to figure out how much offset we’ll need.

For the front end how much room do you have between the tire and fender?

sorry for the miscommunication, the vic front end is installed in a '72 F100, very different body, no air ride, and the front clip isn't on it at the moment. The rear axle from the doner town car (vic) isn't installed in the '72 (its in the may come in handy parts pile lol), we flipped the 9 in. that came in the truck.

A crown Vic setup is cool. I know for the body style before this truck, they are too wide in my opinion. You have to run stock style wheels for the offset to make them clear. We bought a fabricated narrowed crossmember that uses crown Vic outers for the 53 I did. It made it look way better in my opinion. They are a solid way to go either way.

Hey not a problem. I appreciate it

I’m going with the CV for the front I need to secure some funds. Work and babies are in the way of my truck for now. I plan on step notching the rear and bagging the entire truck to eat pavement. It’ll be fun. Just a long drawn out build
