Okay so I mocked up the motor and tranny and set the rear end in place....The rear end is 2.5 in. offset from center but from what I have read and could measure with a degree wheel it should be fine.[S I set the rearend and trans parrallel to each other and have set everything at ride height....I guess that's what u joints are for but I really don't want any driveline vibration...but I guess there is some adjustability in the 4 link that I am using so [;)er up and go for broke:D...if you see something wrong yell at me before I get the rearend prepped for welding.

Started prepping the body for the transplant onto the new chassis...cut out all the floor braces and what was left of the floor...welded in some braces so it all wouldn't collapse once it was lifted into place and started lining things up:)

Man handled the body on which wasn't to bad for I had all the weight out of it. I welded braces onto the bottom of the frame so it will only sit as low as the frame...hung the doors on and set the gutted out cowl in place..I will have to line everything up and start welding floor supports into place and get the body solidly mounted...mocked up the other tin work for a photo shoot but it definitely needs a chop...looking at 5" off the top ...that will make it look cool:cool::)

Battery Box

Made a battery box and put it in the frame ahead of the rearend....It's getting crowded under there...still have to mount the compressor and gas tank in the rear...I don't want anything behind the seats in the package tray area for I would like the extra room for storage...like lawn chairs and beer coolers etc.

Lookin' good Finkster.

I have reason to visit Biggar once in a while. I'll have to look you up on the return trip sometime...

I'm thinking of going with 1x2 tubing in my build, I really like the way yours turned out! Nice battery box, definitely is a snug fit! Thanks for sharing your photos and idea, definitely helps me put my puzzle pieces together. [cl

I managed to find another 4"x10" space in the frame cavity to put the air compressor for the rear bags...it's starting to look like an import with everything crammed in there...I will make the floor openable from the top just in case something goes wrong ...nothing worse than trying to fix something you can't get at.
