Got busy again, seems to be a habit
Here's the tailgate Spencer pin striped for me a couple weeks ago.
Along with the roll pan I'm thinking of adding to the back.
The curve on the top of the gate is due to the wide angle lens.

That's a nice looking tailgate. Whole truck looks good

You're gonna like the sound change there OI. When I brought my pipes out the back and tucked the tails up into the box, it really changed the tone. Just the pipes vibrating up in the enclosed space...

I'm tickled with the work Spencer does.
small, I've driven it about 600 miles so far and the truck is a real pleasure too drive with the exhaust quieted down. I can listen to the stereo without the entire county hearing it.

[ddd I thought about putting Hemi valve covers on a SBC until I found out what old used Hemi valve covers went for.

Didn't realize I hadn't posted for almost a year on this rig.
I actually started rebuilding the 392 Hemi for this one.
The crank still had good low side numbers on the rod throws and good mains.
To my amazement, Hot heads had an old stock set of Johnson rod bearings at .001 under [cl
Keith Black 10 to 1 hypereutectic pistons .030 over.
Seal power rings.
True roller timing chain.
Isky 280 Mega hydraulic cam
I'll post more pics later.
