The world lost a good man

After a 12 year battle with Parkinson's my Dad died Sunday afternoon.
So we are dealing with helping my Mother thru this trying and sad time.
He made me the man I am and I'm gonna miss him.

I know how you feel....both my parents are gone....no matter how old you are when they pass, you really feel like you are alone....the feeling goes away after a while but just gotta keep all the fond memories flowin in your mind...that way they are never really gone.....my condolences to the whole Pops family.....

Our condolences also Pops. My mother also has Parkinsons & I guess that I really don't know the future prognoses for her. I have already lost my younger brother to ALS five yrs ago. Yes it hurts alot when we lose our immediate family. What can one say. Best to talk,& remember the past.

Thanks guys. It's been a long week but we made it over the hump.
I just need to get my mind occupied with something other than the gloom of losing him.

An occupied mind is the easiest way to get through the rough patches.

Seems like when it rains it pours.
The day of my Dads funeral my son-in-laws granddad died. My poor daughter caught it from both sides. This old life is trying sometimes.

Dodge progress:
I have managed to get almost done with the lights and wiring completed.
Sprung for the new headlight / turn signal combo and just used some flush mount tail lights I had from a trailer rebuild. One wind shield wiper installed that actually works.

Next week I'm going try to get it titled, registered and legally on the road.

Oh happy day!!!!

Loaded the Dodge on the trailer for a ride to get VIN inspection,
Title and registration.
25 minutes, $173.00, and I'm legal. Quick and painless.

The joy ride to NAPA was kinda nice when you're not looking
over your shoulder for the PO PO. Ain't that right Sarge?
