Well, its the only thing in the garage at this point- I joined to see what you all are doing and get some Ideas. My hopes and dreams are to keep the chevelle and add a Usable 50/60s chevy PU to the garage, I really like the rat rod/shop truck styling so here I am. By usable I mean its got to be able to bring home some lumber, goods, that dont fit in the car/small suv. No heavy hauling/towing.

The 68 Ive owned for about a year and half. It came from the Georgia area, and was really well preserved and redone. Vortec heads on a 68 350 block, 700r4, and I can drive it daily, all day- The coolest part is 2000RPM at 60mph - my last chevelle wasnt set up to drive so its nice to be able to enjoy a car when its nice out.
I'll try the drop box links then will get back to this and refigure out the html method.

That is by far and away my second favorite Chevelle year, but a very close second to the '67. The just look sinister in black too.

Nice car!

Nice car ! I bought a brand new 1968 SS Chevelle my freshman year in college. Saved my pennies , saved my dimes. It was black also with a 350 HP 396 and 4 speed. I think it cost around $3900.
