I've been out of town in Kentucky for a couple of weeks for a family visit. I'm back in South Florida now but it will take me a while to catch up on all the new posts.

Obviously, I'm easily amused because I took pictures of these signs while I was in Kentucky. No explanation should be needed. I'll post some more photos from the trip when I get caught up a bit.

I'm not making this stuff up folks. :)

Wait, I don't get it.

Okay, well maybe I do. Wouldn't you hate to have graduated from the highschool there?
Glad to have you back Gastrick. We blamed some stuff on you while you were gone, but you WHERE the one who was gone, so what do you expect.

Classic.....

Those are classic, definately added to my collection of such nonsense from around the world....
Welcome back... '22

I've been aware of French Lick, Indianna and always wondered what the source of the use of "Lick" in a town's name was. This is probably it; from an on-line dictionery:
A place where salt is found on the surface of the earth to which wild animals resort to lick it up.
Any other ideas???
I almost forgot, Welcome back, Gas.

Welcome back. How could anyone say with a straight face that they lived in that town??????? :D:D Probably a million jokes in this one, and I can't use a d***ed one. :p

Not to squeal or nothing, but Bonehead threw you under the bus for playing around with Trippers super zapper while he was away. I tried to defend you, but everybody piled on. It was NOT PRETTY. :)

There is also a Salt Lick but I didn't get a photo. There was this one though. The fun just never stops :)

At the risk of trying everyone's patience, I've also wondered about towns with the name "Kill" in them. Like Kill Devil Hills, N.C. or S.C. where one of the monster trucks is from. The term "kill" means creek or channel, I think in Dutch. I've expected some mother's group to protest the term's use in town names because it scares the children.
