When I was a kid, California still issued metal year plates that you attach to your license plate. Stickers do that job now, of course.thanks all!
went to the swap meet and found a chevelle center cap for the black deluxe wheel from a cranky guy. also found a chrome headlight ring for my 56 ($3!!) and some kind of weird taillight/license plate bracket. I bought it for the plate, never saw a 53 year riveted to a 51 tag, and after I bought it noticed the bracket.
any iideas what its from? looks ford-ish to me.
All Chevelle parts owners are cranky.[ddd

The bracket does look kinda Ford-ish. Model A, or so.
