Ask anyone who knows me, I'm always willing to lend a hand but you're on your own with this one!

Get well soon. We're (how do I say this?) uhhhhh, pullin' for ya...

.

Have not heard anything from you for a few days, hope all is ok and you are getting better.

Saw you worked on your mini a little, any progress on the hot rod? I'm sure you feel just a little better if you are out in your shop.[;)[;) I know that's how it was for me we when I was still up in WA state with my big shop. We are pulling for you.:)

Tom, I'm not getting any better, or any worse. Learning to live with it. Hopefully I'll heal eventually.

I can't afford to push both projects forward so I've stopped on the Bantam and am concentrating on the Renault. Not spending on it though. Doing the free stuff.

Gonna run the dragster this Sunday. A bunch of old school drag cars are coming up from the Milwaukee/Chicago area so it should be fun. I intend to do more things(car shows, rod runs, drag racing) this summer instead of spending all the time in the garage.

That's a great way to spend the summer. [cl

Sorry to hear that all things medical with you are not that great. At are age, learning to live with our medical bumps is about all we can do. My stroke stuff and my left eye have not really improved. I am not driving and it is killing me.

Sounds like a great plan for summer, more racing and car shows. Glad to hear that you will run the dragster a few time this summer, I still want to see some low 11's from that big Ford 6.[cl[cl

Me and Dixie (wife) are going to check out something new in October, "TROG" race will be held at Pismo Beach this year for the first time. Just going to watch. Pre 34 hot rods racing on hard packed sand, 1/8 mile. Maybe something I can get into & still have some fun.:D:)

Well how did you & that bullet do this weekend at the drags?

If you did get to run I know it takes your mind off the on going medical problems.

We are thinking of you, hang in there.;)

Hey Bob, I hope your medical issues are getting worked out.

I am getting closer to being ready to install a cowl steering set up on my '22 roadster. Is there any geometry to worry about when doing this or can I just put it in where it works?

Sorry for the long delay, oneeye. My understanding is cowl steering breaks every rule of good steering geometry. I just threw it in there and I'll hope for the best.

Tom, my friend Titus took his '32 coupe to TROG in New Jersey. Said it was the most fun he's had with old hot rods.

Not a problem, Bob. Glad to see you posting again![cl As of now, I am thinking I will skip the cowl steering due to time constraints.

Bob --- That's what TROG is all about. After 45+ year of nostalgia style racing making passes on the beach 1/8 mile side by side will be a fun deal. I will not have a ride for this year's first race in Pismo Beach, CA but me and Dixie will go just to see what the deal is.

I don't have half the space I had in Bakersfield so building is a lot slower, but I have lots of time. I am working on getting all the parts together for a 75-85 HP model A motor with a 32 B trans. With the space issue I want to get motor, trans, rear end (40 Ford banjo 4:11 gears) done before I pickup a frame & body. Hope to put it in a 28-30 RP.

I know your projects keep you going, this is the same for me.

Got to go with the group, ET-12 spoke look right on the front of this hot rod. Way safer than a 50+ year old original 12 spoke rim.

Back / front rim setup looks period correct.[cl
