California Trip

I recently went to San Diego for the 40th anniversary of my car club. enjoyed the drive (gas prices sucked) I had not been back in 30 years and the stories about me had been greatly embellished! Great to see old friends and tell the stories to people that were not there.
gas was 3.25 to 4.50, averaged 25 mpg in the park avenue Ultra, 36 hours each way drive time.

Long trip but sounds like fun. My home town embellishes my younger days too.

yes, Knoxville, only four members. All of us were in the San Diego Chapter at one time

A friend of mine in El Cajon was a member of the Over the Hill Gang. He had a couple of T buckets.

San Diego has changed quite a bit since you and I left. It's crazy down there now...
