one thing my buddy just reminded me. this show has some stupid rules.

pre 65 engines only, no sb2's
no fuel inj.
no billit, dont matter if its a old t-stat housing you had laying around.
no aluminum wheels after 1965 or so.
and lots more

I have been 2x's and they do say no billet, but as far a wheels go and engines, I have seen every combo under the sun. here are a few with sbc, alum. wheels, ect. Just go and have a good time, I have both times.
