As some of you may or may not know, my niece (now 3) was diagnosed with cancer 1 year ago. She went through chemo and radiation and is 100% in remission. no hair and 40% loss of hearing but still a trooper.

Last month my wife goes in for her first mamogram at 40. They find 2 lumps but no big deal as she has already had some out 12 years ago and her family has history of Fiberous lumps. So they go in and remove them and biopsy afterwards. So she went in today for the results and found out the lumps were benign but attached to the tissue was some cancer cells. Good news is they took it out anyways. Bad news is the type of cancer is not responsive to chemo so if it comes back then it has to be a masectomy.

So thaty is 2 what is the number 3 I wonder......

Sure hope it all works out well there. My mom is a beast cancer survivor but had to have a double masectomy in the process. After the process and treatments, she has been cancer free for years now.

I think I can identify what part of me is on fire, by the smell... boots, pants, shirts. They all smell different.

As fate always seems to rear it's ugly head, it's usually my favorite shirt that catches on fire. It makes me chuckle to hear may dad in the shop say "Hey dummy, your on fire again".[;)

i have to admit i have not caught myself on fire that much(not enuf to identify the smell)
i have not welded enough to get past the "rookie mistakes" like that dingle-ball of metal that will fall in your ear when you're laying on your side welding... sounds like bacon frying -but it is inside your ear:eek::eek:

Lol feel this way sometimes.

I picture it as Redd Foxx on Sanford and Son, saying it. ( just left alot of people out of the loop on that one)

Not me either. When I was still a kid, my Mom threatened to paint "Sanford and Son" on my 54 Chevy pu. (Wrong truck, I know) Apparently she wasn't fond of my collection and her driveway full of old cars. :D

Yea...that's about how it sounds, with a little of the "old man" from Pawn Stars mixed in :D

And since Redd Foxx came up, I remember seeing this at the indoor car shows back in the 70's, about the time when the tv show was popular.
