$3200 This sold quickly so i can stop sitting on my hands at the keyboard.
So called maturity and reason can so easily be overcome by irrational impulse.
Since e-man and I are sort of joined at the psyche, my guess is that he wanted to buy it but resisted until it was sold.I'm confused... did you buy it, sell it or just think about it?
.
I'm fighting the same impulse on an item on Facebook Marketplace right now.
$450? Keep fighting!

Don't ya ever look at a pile of tin that looks hopeless and say to yourself, "I can save that"?[
Sure, but in these parts, it would be cheap, cheap, cheap, or free to a good home!
.
Bob, I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said except the part about finishing a hot rod with only $6000. I naively shot for that and missed it by $20,000. But I underline all of your points so others will read them and think about them deeply. Good for you.
I meant no offense, Bob. I don't question your judgment, motivation or values for a minute. I was only saying, the same pile of tin (in my neck of the woods) is a hard sell and would probably go to scrap for lack of interest.
