Flying out to Las Vegas in the morning....

me the wife and my youngest son.....Isn't warm but warmer than here....spending a week out there....see some stuff...do some stuff....spend some money and maybe some more stuff....got some relatives nearby....plan on checking out the location of the Pawn Stars....(wife's idea)...kid wants to go by Counts Customs and me...I just want to relax and do nothing for a while....or look for some really cool stuff.......be on and off the site so you all behave.....

Some people we know went to Vegas and went by the Pawn Shop on Pawn Stars. It isn't a Pawn Shop any more and you won't see Rick and the crew their either. It is a guided tour, more or less, with none of the items in the cases that you see on the show. Most of the stuff in there now is simply T shirts and cups for sale with Chumlee on them.

We were there last week......went by pawn stars but they were closed and painting inside.......best time for your buck is Fremont Street

There are some videos on YouTube about Pawn Stars being fake, and I was going to post a link here, but the language is not PG, so I won't put it on here. But if you go to YouTube and put in Pawn Stars Fake, you will find a few videos some guy did with a hidden camera, showing how there is not really the pawn shop you see on tv, just an area where tourists can walk around some roped off areas and mainly a gift shop with the Chumlee and other items I mentioned earlier.

A freind had to move his towtruck business over to Pahrump after his landlord sold the industrial lot he was workign out of over by the racetrack. he said (exaggerating but not so much)he couldn't find a parking spot for less than 1/4 of a mil in vegas
