I think the government should pay for it. That way it won't cost us anything.

That funny. I was just out looking for a car for my girl friend. checking gas milage rating I found out that there is a old rating and a new rating for all cars. here I come to find out that the Feds now the gas is so pour that they came out with the new rating. for most cars it is 2 - 4 miles per gallon less.
That great we are now paying more for gas and we are getting less miles per gallon. OUCH
Check it out. Go to, www.fueleconomy.gov At the bottom left of the page there is "calculate and share your MPG" hit on that. Then hit "your MPG will vary" then hit "New MPG ratings" about half way down the page you will see "view old/new ratings" Hit on that, then enter the info on the car your want to check.
A saleman tip me off to this.
So now I know why my 92 ranger went from 20 mile per gallon to 18 miles per gallon.
