When I noticed a new member joined up and called himself "Johnny Rotten" I thought to myself hmmm, I know a "Johnny Rotten" from over at Steve's Nova site, wonder if it's the same guy. Good to see ya over here at RRR. I migrated over here when I ran out of money for my Chevy II. I'll get back to it someday though.
Bob, Yes I do, I run with the great lakes gassers...we have 40 cars from the Mich,Ohio and Indy area. We have gone from 6 cars to 40 and this year have 16 races booked in from Michigan, Wisconcen and Ohio.....
Ive watched it grow in only 3 years and I am amazed how well we are treated at these races. It keeps me young and going

I built this '56 Plymouth belvedere as a Gasser-inspired rod similar to what we would have done in the late 60's. 440, TF727, homebuilt fenderwell headers, full cage. It was a blast! I drove it to Joplin, MO from southern CO for the 2007 HAMB Drags, made a bunch of passes, and drove it home with no hassles. It is now in the Netherlands.
