If she looks like Jennifer A I wouldn't care if she was a Heathen ! 
Let me pass along some advice I got right after my divorce, Preacher. Right away I started thinking I had to get back into the dating scene because my ex already had her BF in place and I wanted to fill that spot in my life. I started hanging out at a local Tiki bar and a girl working there and I became friends, so after a while I asked her out. She said " Not right now, give yourself a year and if you are still interested at that time we will go out." She explained I was still too fresh in the divorce thing and that I wouldn't be good for anyone for a while.
Turns out she was right, a year later I met a super nice lady that I lived with for 7 years after that, and it made all the difference in the world because I waited. I was ready at that time to move on and meet someone else.
Don't rush it, somewhere there is a perfect lady for you, and you will both know it when the time comes. In the meantime, keep your grubby paws off of Jennifer, she's all mine !!!!!!

just stopping in for a minute to say, "HEY!"
divorce is final, ex got her settlement (and spent it) and i am working at my shop ...
no internet at the new place yet, and im not sure when ill be able to get back to the rrr as a "faithful member" lol
kids are doing good, and even discussing moiving in with me, bc "momma never has any time" (their words, not mine)
hope u guys keep me in ur prayers, i dont know what the future holds, but with my ex involved there will never be a shortage of DRAMA

Good to hear from you. Sounds like you're getting yourself sorted out. As with the kids, don't bash their mother in front of them or to them. Even though it may be tempting to pile on if they say something that isn't nice about her, take the high road, it will be for the better - especially later on in life.

You must have ESPN, Preacher, I was just thinking that we haven't heard from you for a while and was going to give a shout out. I can tell by the tone of your post that you are starting to heal, good for you. Every day will be better and having your kids around will speed that process. I am so happy for you.
To give you an example of how time does heal, I just heard yesterday from my Son that my ex wife's former boyfriend died of cancer this week. This is a man that I was close to killing at one time because he played a big part in our divorce, and yet when I heard the news there was no joy for me. I sent her an email with my condolences and I sincerely meant it. I honestly felt bad because I knew she would be sad over it, even though they split a few years ago.
You will get to that point too, Preacher. Someday you will look at her and it will be only a distant memory, someone you just knew once.
Good for you, and keep us posted, we really care.

got a computer borrowed for 5 minutes to say hi to my ratrod friends here at the RRR
things are good all the way around--if it wasn't for the ex & her drama life would be great...
i am working in my shop still, the 37 chevy, a 62 ranchero, and a cj 7 all on the repaint-rebuild list of work-projects....
since being on here i have put a 3200-3500 stall in my 46 ford and a 3.42 gear got stuck in my posi carrier by my little brother... would like to be in the 860's at the 1/8th mile track....
will try to let ya know if it works out...lol
keep it going guys, if i get internet again someday ill try to post a few pics & be a bit more involved
