Let me do some checking Rab71. I sent Austin a PM asking him to delete me, And the response I got in return was totaly un-expected....I hope he did not misunderstand me, and you were the one that got the short end of that stick.

With that being said, Please be so kind as to delete any exhistance of the username "Flatbroke" from this site. I am utterly disgusted that you have let these punks run off most all of your senior most members.

Seems like I remember this place used to be "Family Friendly"...Guess those days are gone, Huh...

Maybe one day you will care enough to clean this place up and maybe have us back for a cold beer or 12, But for some reason, I doubt that will happen.

This is the response I got from him .....

I get on the forum twice a day. I am doing my best to moderate the forum along with my full time job. I would love to have others help with moderation but nobody wants to step up and help. If you would be intersted in moderating then I would love it. I agree with everything that you are saying here. I just deleted the posts in the pin up thread and banned that user from posting here ever again.

I never intended for anyone to be banned, ESPECIALLY one of the members from here. I hope it is a simple mis-understanding. I hope to GOD I can fix it for you... Please give me till about lunch tommorrow ti try and straighten this out.
 
I was following that pinup thread earlier today. It was that scheider feller who was causing all the problems. Not sure why rab would have been banned as I didn't really see his responses in the thread as worthy of that. Odd indeed that Austin can't get anyone to step up, but then, maybe it just seems that way to me since I work on computers all day long and moderate myself over at http://www.siriusbackstage.com, a large forum dedicated to Sirius Satellite Radio. Well, I guess I do more than moderate actually, I kind of help run their servers.

No, Groucho and his buddy Evel both got the axe at the same time. Remember Evel posted that thread with more F's in it than one of my old report cards? I contacted Austin, and he pulled the plug. I think a bunch of guys contacted Austin on those two. My opinion is they just came over to raise caine anyway.

If thats something that you are really good at and you really like it.You may want to give Austin a jingel.He is really cool people.I think he really needs help there.

thanks for looking into this guys I do appreciate it. It's amazing how peopl that have never met or sometimes barely even speak to each other can become friends and help one another out.

By the way I have emailed back and forth with Austin. He never did tell me exactly what I did wrong other than I supposedly posted porn. As for the pinup thread, I dont remember ever posting anything on that. I know I didnt post any pictures. Like I have stated before the only time I can get on the internet is at work. Using a computer owned by the company I work for... No porn or anyhting similar here...

We have determined that someone got my password... I have an idea of who it might have been but I can't prove it...

Also today, I logged in from another computer and I cant find anything that shows I might have done something wrong... My name now on there is
2ndchance :)

Amdin's can see a lot of stuff you are not aware of & it someone got your password teh admin can go back on the logs & see what IP address that was done from.

This is a good lesson about passwords... ALWAYS use "letters & numbers" for ALL your passwords especially if you bank on-line.

As a side note... I personally think banking on-line is far too great a risk when it's your $$$ at stake.

Amen to that Bob. I just had this discussion with my banker the other day, and he asked me why I didn't do mine online, and I told him I am old fashioned and don't trust it. I'm even afraid to place orders with people like Speedway anymore, because I never know what spybot is sitting inside my computer counting keyboard strokes or something.

The computer/internet age has spawned a whole new bunch of thieves beyond anything most of us can understand. Some kid sitting in Nigeria or wherever can clean you out real quick, with no reprocussions, it seems.

I love the internet, but hate it at the same time.

Lurked there a while!

I lurked at KB for quite a while but knew I could never fit in there. Everybody is MUCH friendlier here.

The truth is, if it were not for KB, we would not be here. I think most all the original 12 to 15 members were on (and met on) Killbillet.
Don said it first, Austin needs help moderating that site.
 
Flatbroke I really donr think this had anything to do with you. I am going to contact Austin about checking the IP address. I would have thought he did that already. I wish I had a faster way of communicating with him. I am now 2ndchance on killbilet.:D
