Enjoyed talking with you Tripper and the Day Tripper was a sight to behold. It was not your ordinary RAT. Friday and Saturday was a blast. When you thought you had seen all the cars. Some more would come rolling in to make it bigger. Last count I heard was over 900 registered. That was not the final count. Great cars and great music with smiling faces everywhere you looked. People having a good time with perfect weather. If you haven't guessed by now it felt like Hot Rod Heaven to me.

GOODGODAMIGHTY! I have never seen so many of the kinds of cars i love in one place before. I thought i would get something done this evening but probably not now I see from the cars in the background that you still missed a few Bob. Let's try to be more careful next year.

Yep... it was a sweet time & got to meet several of the guys from the board. There were some HAMBsters but not really as many as last year. Lots of just regular good old hot roddin' folks. Ike lucked out... he brought his wife & she loved the really good music & that kept here occupied while he roamed the grounds lookin' @ cars & such. I got there early & got one of the best spots right next to a stand of trees & we were in the shade all day. Don't think I'm even gonna peel like a lizard this year. I hung out all day with Chris aka Doghousedevil & his posse & he had a blast! There was a HUGE track (running) meet in town & most of the police were down on 6th St controlling that mob & the rodders got a little outta control on Congress Ave & were doing huge burnouts until the powers that be put the squeeze on that but it was fun while it lasted. There were *plenty* of cars that I never got around to takin' pictures of too... sorry!!! It's turned into quite a nice show & I'd say at least 80% ratty... sweet!!!

that was some serious fun last weekend. i'm ready for next year already. --- except for my intake gasket(blew out on the way home), my gas tank(was leaking before i even left home), and my wife(she's just started talking to me again here's a few of my favorite pics i got.
