Thanks guys. Im super excited to get this back on the road!!
I wasn't sure my hubcap idea would work like I planned but it seems to be a success hahahaha. I have heard of companies doing similar and I think they have some clips or something that work on these as well.

Nice work on the hub caps. I think I'm going to steal that idea!;)

That's why we are here my friend, too share our questionable ideas and decisions!! Hahahaha

My lazy ups driver didn't drop off my last 2 wheels today!!! Grrrr!!!! But he did drop of my air bags!

Wheels look awesome. I love tires. Some times I think it is an unhealthy obsession. There was a story on our local news about a guy hoarding tires and as they were showing the area I was looking at how I could use a set of some of the ones he had. :) Jim

Hahahaha, at least it wasn't you on the news for it!!!

New bag and a arm installed on passenger side. Getting closer!!
Also spent some time on my silly bag set up. My rear bags are Lincoln mark 7. They have a valve built into them. Which posses some issues with it going up and down with my new control block. I installed some diodes off of the power wires for the up and down valves in the block. This lets me run power to the rear valve both up and down but keeping them separate. The diod will only let the current travel through it on one direction. It all works!! I also got the shifter all hooked up and stuck my grenade back on top of it!!

Dad gum! That’s a lot of tires!
$80,000 to remove them? What are they doing, getting the price of a new tire to move each one? That’s ridiculous! I could see $8000, not $80,000.
I can understand the neighbors wanting them moved, they are an eyesore. But I also hate nosy tattletale neighbors!
Don’t understand hoarding that many old tire tires though. Even the used tire guys around here don’t keep that many around.
I don’t know about them being full of rats, down here they would be full of skeeters!

Air ride system done! Well, I need my new air pressure release valve. Mine pops before the pressure switch shus off the pump. Getting closer

Well I got quite a bit of little tinkering stuff done today. I got the transmission tunnel removed and tucked all my carpet underneath of it and reinstalled. Got to do some small adjustments on it but it looks way better. I also got all of the hubcaps mounted on the truck. Built all the adapters and got them welded onto the old Chevy caps. Looks way better with them on there. I had to install a new York AC compressor, my junkyard find one that's been on there for 10 plus years locked up solid this morning. Luckily I had one on the shelf that was brand new and waiting its turn on the pickup. Once that was done I aired it all up and drove it out of the shop for the first time without dragging the front crossmember in the rocks lol. When I brought it in it was kind of interesting because I could not air it up properly. It needs an alignment, so I didn't take it down the road. I cruised it down our driveway and then across my yard to the neighbor's driveway and up to his new shop he's building. Although it was just a slow drive probably less than a quarter mile it feels really good to have it moving again
