Wow.... As ratty as mine is I get nervous when I see someone munching on a hot dog and holding a coke while peering inside of my ride.
Below, a pic and a story: This 57 Olds makes the local shows in my area, and has its immaculate original paint from the factory. The owner told me he met the fellow a few years ago who painted cars in the Detroit factory, and actually remembered painting that car and several others with that rare color.
But!
A mother asked to take a picture of her son in the car, the owner graciously obliged, but was asked not to bring the lolipop into the car. So the kid lays it on the fender of the car.
The owner showed me on the top of the fender before driver door where the sticky lolipop pulled up a piece of the paint, the only blemish on the car.
