Made some mounts for the Mustang radiator and bolted it to the front crossmember.
It's a close fit but then it's not. Got to do some tweaking to get it fit lower.
I can now place the engine in the frame. But first I need to get the wheel hubs machined and completed to hold all that weight.

Finally took the front hubs to the machine shop to be turned down to inside the Buick Aluminum drums. Once I get them back I'll assemble the front end and set the engine in the frame

I trimmed the floor bracing out of the bed so it would drop down over the frame. Just a little more trimming to go.
I will have to shorten the bed about 8-10".

Put the studs in, packed the bearings and put it back together. Now I can set the engine between the frame rails. Yah! It fits. Oil filter housing hits the frame might have to use a remote oil filter.
Fan hits the lower hose. Smaller fan or electric.

I took the filter off and got it about where I want it. I need to put the cab on to see.

Cut the rest of the floor out of the cab and some of the fire wall. Set it on the frame and adjusted the engine. I like it right there.

Cut out some frame mounts and motor mounts. Just need to pretty them up and put them together with some rubber biscuits.

Change design a little on the motor mounts. Yeah, who hasn't done that! Used a little heavier material on the frame. Cut them down to fit. Now just waiting for a package from Speedway. Then I can drill the mounts and finish them.

Oh man, I just ran into a fine '30 Model A pick up 100 miles from here. Been disassembled and stored in a barn for decades. Looks like no rust through. $2,800 asking price.
