Hye Mike thanks man , the wheelbase is 115" i had to go and measure it i could't remeber what it was lol this gettin ol;d sucks i think i'm turning into a rat rod

I was hoping to bring mine in around that but it's gonna be more like 124". I think your wheel base is perfect. Looks good.

Got the old girl laid yesterday oooppss imean laid out fer here hair cut , taken 6" off the front and 5" off the back and 3" outa tha back window i guess you could say mullet lol

I still have to weld some braces in the cab to support it before i bring the razor out .

I have decided to not suicide the doors i might do it in the future but not rite now.

Heres some pix let me know whatcha think

I got the side frame pieces made and tacked in place

Did some chopping tonite after spending the the whole day with my son in the shop raising his ford explorer 3" front and back , he showed me some pictures of what some guys were doing and he asked me if i would make him some longer shackles to raise the back so i made them but what a bitch gettin that top bolt out of the org. shackes then we raised the front torsion bars and after working on it all day and mot of the nite it was worth it to see my son with a grinn from one ear to the other and that made it all worth it .

Anyway here are some pix of the chop i still have to clean it all up.

I will be leaning the windshield back.

Today i made the roof chop clamps and fitted the rear windo lower section then i fitted roof to the cab after that i cut the front pillars to get that nice leaned windshield look .

I haven't welded anything yet but i may start tomarrow
