My 46 ford p/u build

Did some work on the MSD front dist. drive , got the hole drilled in the drivers side valvle cover and made the alum. block to mount to the cover after i had those parts made i took my MSD crank trigger dist. apart and cut the housing shaft down and repressed the bushing back in then i cut the hard shaft thet drives the rotor down to size after that i took a 18mm socket and modified it to work off the end of the dist.

The dist. is driven off the top intake cam on the drivers side theres a 18mm bold on the end of the cam , i still have to finish it up and the start on the MSD crank trigger but can't start on that until i get the new March SFI balancer.

Man that chop looks fantastic.. what size are your drag radials, 325/50? thats what I run on my 82 chevy on a 10" wheel

Thanks Tim , the rear tires are 345/50's on 12" rims

Started on the headers today didn't get alot done but i take my time anyway heres some pix of the modified MSD dist. and the start of the driver side header

I lke the shoter version but the longer version definately gives it a drag race look

Both are cool but I vote for the shorter version too. It keeps the truck looking snug and compact. Do you have a doner for the wings or are you gonna fab them?

Mike i'm going to fab my own but lots more work to do before i get to making it
