The smoothies will only come off when I want to put the drag radials on and run down the strip.

Ultimately, the 2nd set of wheels will end up on the model A.

Christmas 2021 finally arrived for me.

I'm happy with the way they look. If I squint just right, it looks like a 10 spoke spindle mount drag wheel.

Now to decide on tires. I'm thinking 215/55/17

I finally committed to buying tires. Kuhmo KU27 in 215/55r17

I think it will work for the look I'm shooting for. Similar proportions to spindle mounts and skinnies...just bigger.

We're ready to party now. It launches a bit harder with the drag radials. The shorter tire helped the gearing. Kinda curious what will happen if it dead hooks on a prepped track. I think I will find out it's not making as much horsepower as I hoped.

Same stuff, different day. Smaller wheels are growing on me. The traction is better. They grip pretty good without heating them up. This makes me want to build something really fast.
