It is still the 124" wheelbase. That is what the original 3/4 ton flatbed was. With the 20's it looked great. With the 17/18's it looks a little long to me.

That is the Honda civic bumper that I cut down into an air dam for my hot rod mercedes project. No intent to stick it on the 48. I just plopped it down and snapped a pic for fun.

Even though it is same wheelbase as the 48, the s10 frame is shorter behind the axle. I bobbed the flatbed to match the s10. I think it looks better than stock proportions.
