Thanks again for all the welcomes! Heres some pics of Big Moe. Built him in 2004 to be my shop truck. People look at me weird when I haul a load to the dump with him. lol Spider web was my first foray into artsy stuff back then. The steel rack on the side is removable. If I can find it, I have a pic with a kitcar up on the bed of Moe.

Big Moe engine

Well... funny u should ask. Since 2004 it has had a 351 windsor/top loader 4 speed. It was a mild cam motor, but by 2011 it had 150,000 miles and was getting weak. So I built a HOT 351 for it. Bored it 060, 540/560 lift 320 duration cam (!!). 850 holley.69 model big valve heads. Sounds GREAT ... Totally not streetable. So after having the engine in the truck 4 days I started work on the 2nd new engine. 488/496 lift 280 duration, 600 holley on a performer manifold. Should be better for the street. Curently still has the hot motor in it but the other one is on the stand all block work done and all parts on hand. I will assemble it after the holidays. :) Here are some pics of the hot motor build.

So I had two choices: A - remove engine, change cam, reinstall engine. or B - remove engine. replace with a 2nd engine, then build another car to match the hot engine..... I chose option B! :) Jon

begining engine assy.

Well I fired up the heater in the shop and worked a little tonight. I got the crank camfered spec'd and installed. Got some rings installed on the pistons then ran outa time.
