Hello from s illinois i built my boog bug in about 9 months it's a ranger chassis and drive train with a 73 super beetle body that i stretched 27 in in front and 18 in in the rear chopped the top 1 1\2 in and layed the windscreen back 1 1/2 in at top c'ed the rear frame and just got my bags to slam it the rest of the way

Hi Booger, and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta. I too, used a Ranger frame, axles and wheels under my latest hotrod. I chose the easy route and shortened the frame rather than lengthening the body. We both chose black.
Keep on tinkering.
