I started Rodding in 1962 when I graduated from High School, yup I’m 80 and still at it. First one was a 34 Ford fordor, than a 26 full fendered Coupe and now a 27 Rat Rod Coupe.

Has anyone on here ever seen a front end built like this or better yet know who the person that built it?

Oh, I forgot to say that I also rebuild Cushman Motor Scooters, I got several trophies at Car & Bike shows, beating out several very nice Harley’s. This is my 1954 Chopper with the Trophy on the seat.

Welcome to the board.

Can't help you on that front end, would need much closer pictures. Lots of "custom" designs appearing these days. Some may be OK, some are down right dangerous, many make you scratch your head and wonder what they were thinking.

Welcome to the site. Axle looks to be an aftermarket hotrod axle, (speedway, or similar) with a 4 bar set up, and rack and pinion steering. All it lacks is a set of coil overs. The panhard looks a little weak, but I overbuild. The most important components are steering and brakes.

Welcome to the site. Got ya beat, I'm 83. Bonehead is an excellent source of building information. I have built 3 or 4 straight axle hot rods with rack and pinion set ups. Works good.

Welcome from Flawda Tom! You'll fit in around here. Looks like you're into the same things as most of us...

Welcome to the group! Yes quit a few Old Farts around here, I’m a young one at 79. Looking forward to seeing your progress!!
