I have a 26' bunkhouse that I live in when doing excavation and demolition work away from home. Your would be like a mansion with the extra room. I could easily live in it!

Price seams fair IMO but they is definitely a regional price difference on them.

sold it
we both liked it and lived in the darn thing for a winter(i dont recommend it)
but it was time and the couple that bought it their house burned down so they needed shelter ASAP so i cut them a heluva deal and they can make payments

Keep the title and get a firm written contract that spells out exactly when payments are to be made, Billy. Put in the contract about damages and take good pictures of it from every angle before they take possession, so you have proof. Sometimes guys that try to help others out end up on Judge Judy.

I was a credit manager for a living in a previous life, and people promise the stars and moon going in and then sometimes things change. Just protect yourself. Also, make sure they get insurance on it and make you the payee if something happens bad to it. They have had one fire, so..........

There is also the risk that when their home is fixed or they find other shelter they won't need the trailer any more, so "Here is your trailer back !"

Wasn't trying to get in your business, Billy, but when I read that line about taking payments I just thought I might caution you a little. You will probably be fine, but just dot every I and cross every T in case it goes wrong. After all, you are handing $5K to a stranger. :)

Nice of you to help them out, though. :)
