I was fortunate to see Stevie Ray LIVE, right here in the '80s sometime. (The details are a little fuzzy. ) Stevie blew the screaming roof off the place and I'll never forget that...

Your post reminded me of another incredible guitarist, Toronto born Jeff Healey. Jeff lost his eyesight at an early age, but learned guitar by feel and ear. He and SRV became close friends and played together on several occasions. Both musicians were taken too young and the world of music lost two incredible artists. (May they both Rest in Peace. )
