That was a Great special. The one "peep" that some may not recognize was James Burton, bending the strings on the Fender Telecaster. He's to the right of Roy. Wearing all white. Played on all of Ricky Nelson early hits then got head hunted by Elvis.

Dale Watson is a legend here in Texas & has been on Austin City Limits many times! He'll be playing at a local "listening room"... a small venue that holds about 75 people so it very intimate. Mrs Tripper & I are regulars & are seeing him in early January... can't wait! He used to be Rockabilly but seems to have gone country lately! Ck his song... "I lie when I drink"!
