As for the bed, I'll make one... not sure what I'm going to do yet, going to wait till the cab is on so I can get an idea.. I don't want just one flat sheetmetal side on it, I need something to break it up a bit.. We'll see.

I was not liking the looks of a plain big white truck, I looked like every other work truck going to work in the mornings, so I designed this stripe (went for the AAR Cuda feel) and had my friend cut it out for me.. It really changed the look of the truck

I would love to be done by then.. I have to put in a bunch of overtime at work till the end of the year, and I have to wait on someone else to go pick up the engine/transmission combo, so I doubt it will be done by the end of the year..

But it should be ready for spring

It's funny to think that this thing is only 8 days old
I've got about 14 hours into it right now..

Now I need the engine and transmission so that I can
make the new floor for the cab.. I have it picked out,
but need to wait on someone else to make time
in their schedule before I can go get it

Wait till you see the engine I picked out though..
It'll be something I have not seen here yet

no, it's a SBC, but with a different induction set up than usually seen on a build of this type... nothing exciting, just different

love the look of the truck. and you are working fast. one thing i wanted to mention about the vdub front. if it turns out that the front weighs too much, replace the stock shocks with ones from the rear of a large motorcycle. they have springs that will help hold the load.

I thought about running those if needed..
