Thanks guys..

I ended up chopping 3 inches.. Looking at it now, I think 5 would have been too much for this truck.

Bonehead, right now it's perfectly square, the front posts are both 1-3/8" back on both sides and right inline..
My friend owns an upholstery shop and he suggested cutting the center part out of the roof and doing a snap in cloth top (with a rubber lip to keep out the rain of course) so I may go that route with it..

The chop looks great Blue. I know I said the 5" looked good in the photochops, but in the real world, when seen from all angles, the 3" chop looks perfect.

Well, yesterday I changed my mind about using the 31 Model A grill...
I think I am going to use the original grill for the truck...

I cut it down and will reshape the bottom a bit later today...

What do you think?

My opinion - Use the truck grill and send the Model A grill to me. :D. Seriously though, I vote for the truck grill. You'll probably get varied opinions on this.

I just shortened and added a bit more shape to the truck grill, and I think it looks pretty good.. I need to make some new filler pieces to give it a bit more of a finished feel to it, but I am going to see how it looks

OK.. I cut down the original grill, added some filler pieces, sandblasted and primered it.. I also stripped the paint off the stainless trim (and just placed it on for the photo)

I also found an old Ram hood ornament that I may use

Yesterday I picked up the engine, transmission, shifter, steering column, fuse box, radiator, fan, driveshaft, gauges, gas pedal, and probably more that I am forgetting..

All FREE

Anyway, here's a picture of the engine I am using
(not actual engine, it's raining right now so I can't get a pic, but it's the same thing)

I have to be honest before I saw the grille on there I was a bit worried but man that thing looks great! You have some really nice fab work there. Talent!

Are going to use the fuel injection?

Thank you :)

Yes I'll be using the fuel injection...
With fuel injection, and overdrive I'll end up using this thing every day to save on gas :p
