We put a "Lincoln Locker" on the Model A banjo, as in welded spider gears.

Wheel/tire sizes and treads are limited, so we'll see how she eats!

On an episode of "Shifting Gears", they built a rail on an A chassis for TROG. It was basically a stock A chassis with a flathead Ford V-8 and a seat. Even though their A didn't seem to meet some of the TROG requirements (to me), it was close-ish and they were allowed to run. They couldn't launch it off the line and lost almost every race. My memory says it was still an open differential but I don't recall.

Really like the idea , and the direction you are going with the build, it looks like a blast.
