T'was a perfect night in the neighborhood. I fired up the Fiat for the first time this year. Didn't even wipe the winter dust off of it. Good group at Gruber's tonight. First we have Jerry's freshly painted Deuce 3 window. There's my little Fiat. A dented, original '57. Big Block Dave brought his Big Block Chevelle 'Vert. Kevin showed up with a Mopar drop top. Tuna Can (yes, that's his nickname) owns this pristine 427 Fairlane. Lots of meat on the grill. A good time was had by all.

The weather was perfect. Not many cars showed up. So I elected to show some you've seen before.
Here's one of Dave's many cars. A classic Olds. The blue Willys belongs to Del. He hasn't spent a night in jail in over fifty years. I don't need the paint code for Kevin's MG. Flyin' Brian's Nova. When he isn't crashing RC airplanes he's destroying Nova driveline parts.

95 degrees when I left home. The all aluminum interior of the Fiat didn't look too inviting. Most of the guys decided to drive an air conditioned people mover instead of something photo worthy. Here's a couple FoMoCo's for y'all.

I'm happy that the shots stir up memories for you guys. Makes posting worthwhile.

......ahhhh well the memories i have of a red '64 Ford are of an inebriated Labor Day 1967 in KCK. (Kansas sells 3.2 beer to 18 y.o.) After several crashes with my friends once beautiful '64 Ford XL the two arresting cops took him upstairs in an elevator only big enough for three. They were looking at me thru the glass just standing in the lobby and i was looking at them as they were going up.
So i stumbled past the desk Sargent who never looked up and got on the bus back to KCMO.
Probably not an appropriate story.
