Sorry OI, I just saw your question.

Rushing the season but here we go. A small group because of the virus. No interesting cars because of threatening weather. So here's some shots from inside Greg's shop. The Model A belongs to Brian, who trims trees in a most dangerous manner. He brings RC controlled planes to entertain us. Usually crashes or gets them stuck in tall trees.

The Anglia is Greg's and has been pictured before. Blown small block. Excellent craftsmanship. Under the tarps are Greg's '27 Roadster and '55 Chevy.

I've been thinking, the opening of the drag strips and the season finale might be on the same weekend this year.

Wow! Dr. C., cancelled already? what a bummer.

Against all odds, I trekked out to Gruber's tonight even though there was a big cloud of virus in the air. I held my breath. Should be okay.
Lo and behold, Ted and Brad drove their cars even though it was 37 degrees.
Brian brought some planes and destroyed one before I got there.

Glad you got out for a while, Bob. [cl

Our track is membership owned and operated. It relies heavily on sponsorship, so until there's a green light (pun intended) there's nothing to sponsor. I'm no longer directly involved, but I assume April 1 was the "go or no go" deadline for all contracts and agreements. I can also safely assume there's a contingency plan, but the regular schedule is definitely cancelled...

About 10 of us law breaking bad boys were at Gruber's tonight. Brad, Kevin, Schlor and me. We four drove our somewhat interesting cars. It was sunny and 70 so I couldn't help myself.

10 or 12 of us broke out of our homes and made it to Gruber's. Tonight I'll feature Jerry's '37 Chevy coupe. It's been together for decades and still looks great.
Also, Brian brought some nifty planes to the party.

Still not many guys showing up. Even though it was a beautiful afternoon/evening. Here's two new ones. The wagon has been there before. Very straight and looks like its never been touched. The truck is a new purchase out of South Dakota. 460 Ford in it.

Another weather-perfect afternoon. Out in the distant suburbs, far from the looting. First up is a stock MG, Next is Brad's custom GM, then a nice tri five and last, we have Dave's Pontiac. oops. I forgot Schlor's 496 Chevelle.

Thanks for taking us along Bob, that stock MG must have left some dead patches in the grass, I have never seen one that didn't leak oil everywhere[ddd:D

Looters, everyone is calling them protesters, they aren't protesters, they are thieves.

Glad you and your pals are able to get out, nothing going on in my area at all.
