Thread hi-jack

No Hi-Jack, I welcome all wagon builds. That's sweet, looks like it is ready for a motor!! [ddd I have been keeping my eye on those electric coolers people ride around on. I think it would be sweet to put one of them on a wagon, the only problem is I am not paying $200 for a cooler just to remove the motor.

TRUMP!!!

Bacccckkkk!!!

We have finally gotten one going. It isn't finished yet, but I couldn't keep it from everyone any longer. I got it into a roller today. I had many different ideas when I was building this, and to be honest I don't think my ideas with it are finished. I keep saying that my ideas don't come easy they just seem to happen. Well, enjoy everyone. [ddd:D

Finished!!

Just wanted to share the finished pics of the Bare Naked Cruiser. I know many of you have seen it on Facebook. But, I still wanted to share it on here. Afterall, this is the wagon build thread. This wagon wasn't my favorite build, but after I was finished with it, it grew on me. It has become one of my favorites I have built. Hopefully, someone will buy it, and enjoy it as much as I do! :D In the mean time, I will continue to enjoy the heck outta it!! Hopefully you do as well! Cheers! :D

We killed my daughters wagon at a pick-n-pull so we beefed it up.... I took the center rails from a crown Vic and a swivel for the seat of a boat and walla.... Oh and some harbor freight tires.... I think total build cost was $30 and it's still very functional around the farm and shop

@Tude Nice fix. Works out better draggin' parts and kids now!! :) I am working on one right now with suspension that is lifted a bit. Might not be done for a bit, but its in the works nonetheless.

New!

I also wanted to share a couple of wagons I picked up to add to the collection. I haven't decided on the direction of either of these wagons, but I know the yellow one will be fun. It is a Murray wagon from the 1950s. The only thing missing is the handle. It is in fairly good shape for the age, and it weighs every bit of 50lbs. I am welcome to ideas on that wagon. I don't know whether it should be restored to originality or customized. I wanna hear some ideas. They may be considered in the decesion! [ddd ;)

Thanks, here's what 3 crown Vic bumpers did to it.... Thus why I had to upgrade it.... Junkyard wheelbarrows suck too

hey people, just wanted to throw in some pics of my attempt at a wagon....built it for my 3 month old daughter, just about done with it, just needs some final paint work on the pipes and engine stuff....but its 99% done....had a blast building it...hope you like it!!!! oh its 1" square tubing, alot of nuts and bolts, original wagon wheels in front, some new wheels in back, aluminum plate for engine, real holley carb, rad was made out of a old tractor air filter i found on the side of the road, you cant see it but the sticker on the side of it says "Baldwin filters" my last name is Baldwin, so i had to make it work, lol....

Thats pretty sweet!!!!! I don't have any kids, but I am about to build a wagon just because! My buddy has a good tub in his garage said I can have for $15!

Very Cool!

I am glad I have gotten some people proactively building wagons! :D And they are turning out pretty sweet!!

Neverdone, $15 is a steal!! If you don't want it, I'll take it!

Lowbudget: what did you use to paint the white walls? I have been using just white acrylic paint and brushing it on, but yours looks better I think.

Keep up the good work fellas!!

4eight0 ya i spray painted the tires. Krylon gloss white. I think its alittle yellow lookin. I sprayed them again a few days ago and they brightened up. Still have a few things left to do. Might get it done next week.

M2g4b your wagon is cool as hell. Simple and clean. Love it.
