I love takin' my car out on the road & got that chance again Sat morning! I got up early to go to the 'Keys to the Hills' rod run in Boerne, Tx. Boerne is a dinky lil town up in the hill country that has all kinda of festivals etc & lots of B&B's & has become quite a destination. Anyway... I got up at 5am, packed up & hit the trail. My car was runnin' like a top & as you transition from the plains to the hills there are lots of rivers & the fog as like soup & as it sun came up in my rear view mirror I tried to take a picture but no camera can capture the beauty of that shot. Just that image still in my mind was worth the trip! It's what hot rodding's all about... man/machine/highway! Can't wait to do 'er again!!! Here's some shots from the show!

Dirtyrat,
This was a *really* beautiful roadster & sounded really bitchin'!!! As soon as this kat & kitten rolled up... people were all over the car & it took me forever to get the above foto without people hovering it!

Wow, that does look and sound like an awesome day! I was a beautiful fall day here and we were hoping to go for a drive but just had too much stuff going on....maybe the leaves will hold their color for another week. :)

I notice there were two Willys trucks there too. [cl Seems like they are everywhere now, but you hardly ever seen anyone building them back when I started mine.

Noticed the water marks on the pics........were you promoting the magazine at the show?
