Well, there is an executive who isn't afraid to lead by example.[cl Even if it means he will have to start carrying his lunch to work, cancelling HBO, not going to the gym, and only having two Mistresses, he is willing to do all those things just to show he is one of the regular guys.

Brings a tear to my eyes because leadership like that is SO hard to find these days.:p Almost makes me feel like sending him some of the McDonalds coupons I was going to use myself, he would probably appreciate that.

Hummmn, a 20% pay cut for 2012? Is that a typo, or are they a year behind paying him?[S

I could scrape by on 50% of his salary.[ddd

Better than a company I used to work for.

I got a company wide email one day that explained how it was the worst year ever for sales so there would be no merit increases for anyone. It cause some grumbling but most folks understood. Then two months later we get an email that stated the CEO would be getting a 15% pay increase to put himself inline with other CEO's in similar businesses. So basically we got D$$k and he got a $100k a year increase, real hard times.

Yeah kind of like a city manager we had....

He negotiated contracts crying about money and so we settled for no pay increases for 3 years.....6 months later the city council gave the city manager a pay raise to bring his pay more in line with other city managers of similar size cities in the area.....
