In hind sight I would have chosen a reputable body shop to do the repairs and given the bill to the blaster. I wouldn't have given him a second shot at completely destroying my doors...Sounds like you are back to square one and will need to make new skins. We are pulling for you

Sorry to see $&!# like this going down. Be sure to tell all your friends where to NOT get the blasting and bodywork done.

The clown should be buying you new custom built doors.

Well,I gave them the chance to fix them on my attorney's request. The "body guy" they used is a known shop in town, and supposed to know his stuff. At this point my attorney says that the blasting shop will have to replace them no matter the cost since I signed no papers stating that they were only liable to damages up to the amount payed for services. So,I need to get some estimates on fabbing and installing new door skins, and give them to my attorney then we go from there !

Moved back home to Arkansas, bought a house and settled down for the last time. Cut my losses on the ruined doors got what I paid back and went on with life.Made some progress on the old girl today though. 6.0LS, 4L60E, explorer 8.8, and welder series 4 link, and engine mounts.

Decided that I was not at all happy with the floor work I did years ago so I cut it all out,and am swapping cowls while I'm at it to one with less rust.

Worked on it for a couple hours to night tweaking door gaps and making double certain I was happy with what I had done. Then I hoisted it back up onto the frame to decide how deep the channel would be,and adjust the rake of the body to the frame to my likeing. Tossed the fenders on when I lost motivation for the day to renew it for later.

Messed with the car a little tonight, and got a couple crossmembers in for the new floor. I channeled it another 2" as well.No pics of the inside but I did get a frontal shot.

Spent a few minutes shimming the grill and put the fender and hood on. You can really get an idea how low it is with it all put together !
