4 door sedan/cars/wagons made into some other model

any one with pics of 4drs made into 2drs?

lots people asked why l did mine.

mine was a hack job by someone who chopped it up before l got it and the easiest way to save it was to make the 33 dodge 4dr into a 2 dr.

l have seen kits to make a 55-57 chevy four door into a convertable, any one done other kinds of hardtops to convertables.

a guy on CL in seattle had this for sale. 1/2 dodge charger-1/2 volkswagon.

funny things is, the guy who was selling it said it was his dads and he drove it alot, oh, and by the way, when the kid was cleaning off the property, he found the other 2 halfs out back behind a shed.

why anyone would do this is beyond me.

My '31 Chrysler is a 4dr with the back two welded shut........lots of back seat room for me and the misses,haha.actually i was thinking of making a sedan dellivery out of it.

I agree 100%. I also agree with Neal Bortz who said that sometimes you have to tell the truth and say the baby is ugly.A Volkscharger, God forgive whoever built that thing.[P[

The pics I've posted are of a 29 A 4dr sedan I got from a friend.
I went with him to pick it up,it was give to him to haul off!
he didn't think much of it when he saw it,I had an xtended cab on my mind when I saw it.
The 2 rear doors were gone when we got it,the people were cleaning up the property,
a tree cutter dropped a log down on top of it. I did a little surgery on it once it was back at my shop.
It'll be awhile before I get to this one,I've got a few ahead of it.
Also I really dig the tubb Bob W posted.
That is a sweet looking ride!

I made a sortta cab thing out of a T sedan.. I'd shorten up the back part lengthwise 'bout 6" if I did it again, but it works OK.

I'm not overly fond of doing this to a sedan, but it beats trashing them. I like the tub idea best.

Here's Terry & Lee's (Tator here on RRR) shortened Studebaker Dictator 4 door. They only got this much from the previous owner. It was just a shell.

Started as a 37 Pontiac 4dr sedan and now a 2dr hump back 5 window coupe.
