luck vs. sense

two things that amazed me... how things would just seem to fit, kinda like puzzel pieces, or a model when you were a kid. and two, how that after a few cold oned i was actually believing that i could bend the metal to my will...;)

out of propane, and beer - time for bed!

its funny, if i sit down on the couch, i can be asleep in minutes, if i go the garage and get busy, 3:00 am is not a difficulty.

Frame, was a gusseted roofing frame, you can kinda see it in the avatar, plenty heavy... The steering is a trans am tilt column, shortened 3" and affixed through a colapsable shaft to a manual 68-ish mustang box, with a cross steer set up, and a pan hard bar.

da guts

i dont really have any good pics of the interior, gut i kinda am proud of it... the same trans-am that gave up its steering column, also donated its brake petal assembly.
found a spoon type accelerator petal from a really early ford pickup. got honda prelude bucket seats (including the retractable seat belts) and a hurst quarter stick for the powerglide, but my favorite is: the push button start out of an old international cab over.
