I need to get a longer upper rad hose so i can slide rad over to middle. right front wheel is wrong offset. one of the a arms is the wrong size and ride height has not been adjusted. Frame will be 4.5 off ground. When all is done i am putting some DOT approved tires on it for street use.

Serious attitude. Keeps looking better and better. Not sure the DOT's will convey quite the same attitude tho, will be interesting to see. Keep us posted, love the pics.

Thanks guys. I guessing it should weigh 1600 to 1800 lbs. My DOT are going to be WIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDEEEEE. Might have to buy one at a time to sneak it past my accountant(wife). Again thanks for the inspiration.

That is very light! I think your wife will find out about tires when you have to buy rear ones every month.[cl

Ok i know i have been a slacker to all you guys in here. Been workin my butt off. But did get a lil time to wire the dash for the last time and put in. Got all the lights and sensors and switches ready to go. Did it so i could remove dash and everything comes out with it. Heres a shot just before i put it in. Lights are on.

Well i have still been humpin at work. Been at a dog food plant for the last couple of months. I rebuilt my carb from inside out. What a job for the first time by myself. Put it together 3 times after leaving parts off like the throttle spring. Yep you got to take the base off and little round plates off then slide linkage out to put it on. LOL OH and the little things that look like needles do not go in the needle and seat in the bowls, they go under the lil squirters in the main body. LOL Needless to say i got it built and it runs great but still have to rejet. Also got the clutch all hooked up and working. Actually sat in it and cranked it and put in gears and tried it out in the shop. Axles arent in but once get brakes done next is finalyze steering for raod worthy and off we go. Sorry i have been such a slacker on pics bet they are comin soonnn. I know how much we luv pics.

superstocker

My dad has a white monte that body style and has mentioned a few times how cool it would be to put corvette suspension in it and make it a v8 rear wheel drive door slammer with tube frame and everything.

why not buy the real deal and wrap the steel body around your frame?

Have made some progress here in the past couple of weeks. Got the front brakes done with some help from my daughter. She say "Daddy do I hold the pedal down on 3 or press it 3 times and then hold it down" LOL Have 2 master cylinders for front and rear. Got the carb and all linkage done with circle track air cleaner. Clutch all done. I didnt like my steering so i pulled the right header and should have it done by this weekend. Heres a pic of my daughter helping me this weekend. Thanks for all the help and inspiration. Oh yeh I got this old Linberry cart out of a field last week and cleaned it up for my wife and put it in the house as a coffee table. Dated at 1910 old railroad-cotton bale cart.
