Thanks Soltz. I worked on it a little bit tonight. It almost fits in the hole. It's a little twisted but I think I can get it into shape. The window frame is bent and that may be the reason it's twisted. When I cut the top off the door for the chop I may be able to get it back into shape. Oh well, I suppose it is 83 years old and was used hard.

You can twist a door a whole lot just by using knees or wood blocks and weight I`d go for nice fit before chop.

Thanks Dutch. I've tried that and I think it is as close as I can get with out relieving the dent in the window frame. I will try to straighten it and fit it before chop.

I'm learning to hate doors. Seems like every thing I do to a door causes a different problem some where else.

Looks good and you have it going your way.
Stay after it!!

I'm not that fond of this one at the moment.

Not as smooth as it looks in the pics. I worked on it some more tonight. The body lines match up but the gaps need some work. About 1/16 in the front and 1/4 in the rear. I'll bend the hinges a little to fix that. The door lines up better at bottom with a new bumper in the door jam but the top is still out too far. I'll think of something.

Looking good Kenny, I don't think any of the door gaps or body lines were very good right from the factory.

Don't give up, it's far too much fun once you can drive it.
