I'd advise against that. That's just me, though.

I have a weird fetish for right hand drive cars and with limited pedal space on the left side, I’m leaning more and more towards rhd.

Anyhow, I’ve made some more progress in the last few days. Got the rear of the tub sheeted in which was a lot harder than it looks. I need to make some spacer plates for the front below the cowl in order to fill the gaps between the side of the cowl and the floor. Then, it’ll be onto the doors. Once the body is pretty much finished, I’ll move onto building the frame. I’ve got some parts coming in so I can setup at least the rear suspension. I haven’t quite decided how the front suspension will be yet. I’m sort of torn between designs but I’m just gonna have to see what speaks to me the loudest.

Here is some inspiration JB. Build what you like.

One door down, one to go. Still need to mount hinges and the latch before I can skin the inside but it’s coming together nicely.

Finished up the one door today. Tomorrow I will hopefully be able to build the other door. I get the night off so as long as I don’t sleep the day away I should be able to get it done. The hinges are just el cheapo gate hinges from the hardware store. The latch however, that’s an interesting piece. The latch came off of an old locomotive window. I had never seen them before so it’s sort of cool.

Too yesterday off of working on anything. And since I had the night off as well, I was well rested to get out into the shop and knock the other door out. So the right hand door is built and bolted on. Need to do some quick finish work and she’ll be set to go. When I finished that, I still had a bit of time left so I decided to cut on the dash and pull the instrument panel back just a tad. I’ll get the door finished tomorrow and we’ll see what happens from there. Still waiting on the suspension bushings to start building the frame.
