I cut up the booth shown earlier and just set it in place. Looks decent and the price is right. Cleaned up the old free trunk and set it in the bed.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. It means a lot. Now working on the steering. I have a Ross steering box, new, probably for a fork truck. It might be a little quick but I can slow it down with a short pitman arm. Slow going with the sore back and hip.

Cold weather takes a little longer each year to get used to... I'm glad I don't have as much cold stuff as you guys up north!

Thanks for the reply.
I'm needing one for the chopped section and channeled truck I built to extend the mileage range for my customer.

Sorry I don't have more information. It is from and old car and was longer. I had to cut the end off but that made it easy to clean out the inside and take some dents out of it. Searching swap meets for $5 parts like this was fun for me.

Looks really good Bob! That cab design was the inspiration for both my Hercules and Hennway pickups but you've gone the more difficult route of resurrecting the real thing from what the average person would call scrap. Well done!

Thanks zz. I know I can't make a hot rod out of flat sheet metal. I did however get the Ross steering box mounted. Several years ago I got an old steering column and wood wheel from inside a school bus used as a warehouse. French lake Auto Parts. It's all transplanted into the Dodge.
