nice looking truck, i like the look of the rally wheels the best.

Thank you!

I have to agree after cleaning up those old steelier and bathing them in gloss red it really just put that truck right in place..... I'm tempted to do some more home-made white walls..... I just don't know yet, but I think it may just work....

I ummm... well.....

It was warm yesterday.....

And.... I was wondering what the new'y done ralley wheels would look like with a nice white wall tire... so I took the flap disc out... The wife caught me about 3 minutes in and was like..... "Didn't you just get those tires?" (As in what the HECK are you doing) "I thought they looked fine."

I was like.. I um.... well.... I'm sorry?

Anyway after I was done making a mess and burining rubber in the driveway... I think she was actually happy with the result....[cl

I still have the other 3 to do, I'm going to take my time this go around and make them nice and even...

CC you do a good job on every thing you do. Thats a good job of blowing a hole in a tire. The radial wire didn't do much [S

This is why they say swap out radials when they get six years old. ...they will fail violently without warning. I've had the same thing happen to me on cars that were parked at the time.

The wife had one blow like that on her first horse trailer. It was a spare mounted on the outside, never been on the road and looked brand new. Checked the date on the tire and it was 8yrs old. Sounded like a shotgun blast when it blew.

Update on the 64

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while.

If you have seen my other post you may be thinking.... I sold the truck.... NOPE... still have the 64.... (sighs of relief)

It is currently in my garage.... that's right I have a garage now, since November, and of course... I have not done much wrenching on the truck. I did a fuel pump on the wife's vehicle, that was quite a job, but none the less the 64 is in the garage...

Currently replacing the steering column, the old ones die cast gear that slide the ignition switch around, took a dump, so I am placing another column inside.

Also managed to destroy the steering coupler gasket when removing the column, so it is currently on one jack stand with the guts hanging out everywhere... In other news I did score a new 12 circuit wiring harness on line for cheap, so I will replacing my homemade one that may be part of my ghostly electrical issues.

Well if you manged to read and understand all of that, THANKS

More to come.
