Can't blame the guy! He saw what a little work in the right direction did for this truck. Now he wants it running as soon as possible. Nice work Iron & son...[cl
I agree, plus he really didn't know much about the 440 :cool:
Got a little more done. Bent the tranny to firewall hump and tacked it in.

We decided the heck with it and went ahead and instead the dash:D

Just messing around and made these diamond plates.
Didn't need them as there are internal plates and rosette welds.

What's he going to do with the 440? I need a winter project and I like the idea of a 440 blower motor for the rat.

He's a hoarder when it comes to car parts so ??????
He has a 64 Valiant he's wanting me to build and says that's where the 440 will go.
 
We got the cab mounted permanently and installed the steering column and it hooked it up to the rack.

Made a little piece to hold the radiator support bars

While we were at it we also lowered the bed another 2.5"

Well, they called and asked if I'd work the Sturgis rally again.
They're flying me out Friday afternoon and flying me back on the 8th.
Eric and I are gonna work on the truck till noon Friday so there will be updates before I go :D
